February photo a day kicks off tomorrow

My January picture a day was a success! I managed to take all of my 31 pictures. Very happy :)....
Browsing through my new favorite site, yes Pinterest, I found a photo challenge for the month of February. She gives you different ideas of pictures to take every single day. Pretty cool! For sure it's going to help with my non existent creativity and having to guess what to take a picture of each day. I'm linking her blog here were I read all about this challenge. Check out her site which is pretty cool too.

Follow me in Instagram @stuffbyKari and on Twitter @stuffbyKari and I'll be posting my pictures there. Let me know where to follow you in comments so I can check out your pictures also!

fat mum slim: February photo a day kicks off tomorrow: A little reminder: February photo a day starts tomorrow! I do hope you'll play along. Here's how to play:

1. Use the list above as inspiration and take a photo everyday. For example for number one on the list, 'your view today' you'd take a shot of whatever it is that you can see today. This would be a wider shot of your office space, where you went for a walk, or whatever it is that you can see!

2. Share on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, your blog or where ever it is you want to share. If you're sharing on Instagram or Twitter use the hashtag #FEBphotoaday so everyone can find them. There's a great community around the photo sharing, so do share!

3. Check out everyone else's pictures. I do it before I go to bed each night and it's so fun to see how different everyone's photos are. There are people from every corner of the world playing.

Happy picture taking (:

My New Years resolution: GET ORGANIZED

My New Years resolution is to get organized! I feel like I have little piles of to-dos all over my house. Somehow I will always get to them later. I want that to change. So I did some "googleing" (my go to source for everything) and I found a "Declutter and get Organized Calendar". The website was http://Mysimplerlife.com/. The calendar has something to do every single day. What I liked about it is that the task are not out of this world. At the most it will take you fifteen minutes to do a day, very important to me :-). Super exited I printed my handy dandy calendar and got to work! My first task: Clean out spice cabinet and throw away all of the expired ones. This one is easy (is what my brain is telling me), I got this. I get to cleaning and looking for expiration dates and I stumble across a couple of 2010 and even 2009 (actually not a couple, A LOT). What was really disturbing was when I found not one but two (yes TWO) things that expired in 2007!!!! What the barnacles! And here I was thinking that this was a piece of cake. By the time I was done I had Adobo, Basil, and Garlic Powder. Kind of disturbed and two grocery bags of expired spices later I decided to, bravely enough, attack the pantry. With this I will just say that I need to go grocery shopping by the time I was done. I can't wait to see what else this Calendar has in stock for me. Happy Decluttering and Organizing to you :-)

Twenty Twelve Project: One picture a Day

I am super excited for my new project to start the year (and hopefully finish). I'm going to take one picture each day. This sounds easy right? Well we're into the fifth day of the year and I think I'm going to have to set some reminders! I've downloaded this app to help me: Project 365. It's going to definitely be a fun project. I can never remember what I did last week never the less the last month so this should definitely be beneficial for my memory skills too... :-). Try it and see what you come up with. I'm definitely going to put some effort in trying to take pictures of random things that happened in my day. At the end off the year I'm going to upload to my Shutterfly (where I store all of my pictures online and do a lot of personalized gifts from) account and create an album, which for now is nameless. I do have a whole year to come up with one. Wish me luck!

Don't start the year hungover!

Don't start the year wasting your time laying in bed because your head is pounding so bad. My remedy is Alka-Seltzer. You'll thank me in a half an hour! HAPPY TWENTY TWELVE!!! Xoxo

Blinc Eyeliner in black, can't wait to try it, very into eyeliner right now. Showstoppers, they're supposed to keep your 'twins' in place without having to how the hideous visible bra strap. Harvey Prince Ageless- Pink Grapefruit. The last but not least, the one that I'm going to try right now to keep me awake, EBOOST Orange Natural Energy Booster. It's loaded with vitamin B, C and D.

Can't wait to try all of these :-)

Birchbox is membership (like a magazine) where they send you five different samples. Make up, hair, skin care and my favorite NAILS samples :-)
